2015: A Year in Review & BIG Thank-you!

Tara Calihman - December 29, 2015

So much happened this year - the growth of our company, accelerated innovation of our product and continued customer acquisition and satisfaction. There are a lot of emotions wrapped up in 2015, so I’m going to borrow a page from the book of Quick Left (thank you friends!) and sum up some of our proudest moments with gifs. Because I can.

We got another round of funding.

We released amazing new features (see the video below for highlights) including the Control Call, SSO, a new filtered timeline, our public API and exciting integrations, like ServiceNow and StatusPage.

We continued to build an awesome workplace culture. From riding bikes to racing office chairs to running beer relays together, we enjoy spending time with one another out of the office and are especially proud that Outside Magazine took notice.

We turned 3! And won an IQ Award!

We drank 180 5-lb bags of coffee, consumed 22 5-gallon kegs, ate 1248 bagels, merged 786 pull requests and sent 376,000 messages in Slack.

Our most popular blog post was about why we switched to Cassandra and the most popular time to commit was Thursday at 11am.

We traveled to 22 conferences, had 7 company meetings, at least 250 stand-ups, 12 chair massages and 2 official attempts at the Wings Over the Rockies Innovation Challenge. There were 25 new hires in 2015 and Todd, our CEO, attended 4 Rush concerts.

We want to thank you for your support this year. As such, we filmed a video full of gratitude for our customers and what they inspired us to build this year. Be sure to watch to the end, since Joni, our VP of Product, has an extra-special holiday message for all of our current customers.

**Happy New Year! **

Here’s to making on-call suck even less in 2016!
